Winter Rookies

Jen and I had such a great time hosting the kids. Thanks Mark and Marleen for letting us entertain them. Also, thanks for providing the means. Here are some pictures highlighting the trip.

Aren't they beautiful.

Austin discovers the fun of making and throwing snowballs. Jen and I are glad the window was up to the challenge.

Christine and Austin play with our Nickelcade winnings.

This whoopie cushion meant a lot to Christine.

Jen dutifully makes us all French Toast one morning. Ain't she sweet.Worn out after just one day. Too much fun for these chilluns.

The beginnings of Buddy the snow-cowboy.

At least we got the carrot right. I don't think lettuce and grapes are part of the normal snowman decorations.

Snowmobiling. Those are some huge cabezas.

Post snowmobiling. 'Twas a nice sunny day.

Buddy meets an ignominious end.

The biggest challenge for the newbies was getting dressed. Once that was ironed out, the rest came pretty naturally.

Sporting our official Spring Break '06 t-shirts. This is after dinner at Olive Garden.

One last taste of winter before they left.

P.S. Please click on pictures to see them enlarged.

Scott - what a great posting of pictures! I think I'll print them off and send them to Clint - you really did a superb job!
Thanks a bunch - I was disappointed when I saw the violence against the cowboy snowman, however. There are healthier ways to ease stress. Thanks again! Marleen (Mom)
