Austin and Keaton playing the game of "stretch." Austin's expression captures the "fun" of the game. The boys did this for three days almost non-stop. It was one of the events in the camp olympics.
First attempt at a Father-Son picture.
After four other attempts and lots of coaxing to get some smiles we settled with this one. They look kinda happy to be there.
The fascination with fire begins as a young boy. I think it never dies.
The boys who were brave enough (ahem) jumped into Palisade lake. Those who were not, watched.
Scott catching the frisbee jumping off the rock.
This one doesn't need a caption. I don't know what stands out more, the red shorts or the white body.
Best picture of the camp award goes to this shot taken by Mark. Beautiful.
Us three at the end of the hike. I'm intentionally turned sideways to show how much I was carrying. Truthfully, they were easier on me this year than last. I'm not sure I earned my keep this time.
All the campers close together at the end. Everyone smelled so bad (no deodorant or showering for seven days) that they were immune to the stench.
The first greasy humburger joint we could find once off the mountain. Austin said, "This is the happiest moment of my life," about a dozen times.

Hey, what great pictures - thanks
Scott. It looks like there was fun to be had in them there hills.
Actually, Austin told me that once
you got there everything was a lot
more fun. Mark said he had a great
time - he loves just getting out in
the mountains away from city life.
Thanks!
Jen! It's so great to hear from you guys! Your daughter is adorable. It's so great to see pictures; it's nice that so many people have these blog things. Keep in touch!

I thought that picture was beautiful too, oh wait, you were talking about the sunset over the lake?
Hi friends! I commented on the pix of your adorable little Katelyn and I saw your comment on my blog so I don't think you noticed mine. Confusing? Yes. I am. Sorry. Great to see you are doing so well. Why are you still so skinny Jen? Ridiculous. Chris and I still laugh about how insanely adorable you two were team teaching Sunday School class. Remember how Jen laughed at EVERYthing that Scott would say? Seriously stinking adorable. I hope you are loving SLC! When you're finished with school you should consider a residency in Florida. I know you don't ultimately choose but maybe you'd match down here. Its sooo nice but expensive. Take care!
