1. Took a trip to Canada for an away rotation and a wedding reception,
2. Celebrated Jane's first birthday and Scott's 30th,
3. Spent a weekend in New York City for Scott's sister's wedding,
4. Attended Scott's graduation from medical school,
5. Packed up our belongings and moved from Salt Lake to Temple, Texas (and yes, we drove), and
6. Left the girls with my parents in Houston while we went on a trip to Europe.
The Europe post is coming later, but here's the first picture we took in our new house in Temple. (The pictures start from the end of the month and finish at the beginning.) This picture of Kate says it all - the crazy hair, self-applied makeup, goggles(?), disgruntled expression, and moving boxes stacked in the background. It's ok Kate, we felt ready to be committed too.
The whole group that came to Scott's med school grad.
Love Jane's expression here.
Scott bestowed upon me the "stole of gratitude."
The Thurber clan with the new doc.
Aw.

In the early stages of packing up our apartment, when boxes were still this fun novelty item.
Go back in time a few days, and we were in Central Park!
And at Juilliard!
The temple in NYC.
Scott rang in his 30th birthday with enthusiasm...
At least he got to be with old friends.
There's that smile.
Two days previous to Scott's birthday, Jane had her first. Cheers!
The bride and groom.
Love the chaos in this one. Kudos to Laura and Ben for continuing to smile through the perfect storm of crying children. Jane was particularly angry during this photo shoot.
Goofy grin from the Fluffer in her wedding finery.
Happy smile from Kate the Great in hers.
And here's a snapshot from the beginning of the month in Canada - the static accumulation from hours of solitary trampoline-jumping fun.

My favorite is Kate's distracted face and hand position in the group pic from Scott's graduation. Awesome update
Although we didn't get to see Juliard, we saw the intersection it was in. We couldn't find it *sad face*. BUT, *suddenly smiles* we DID see the temple and Central Park. We saw that same field that you took a picture of inside CP. We were standing right there! Magnificent (:D) post.
Good choice of pictures to depict that busy month of May. Loved the pictures of Kate with goggles and Jane in the box. It was fun to come for graduation - lots of hard work and dedication on both your parts to finish - CONGRATS!
As Dr. Seuss would say, what a month you had, that month of May. Good pictures.
Congrats to Scott--what a great accomplishment--and to you, too Jen! Your girls are absolutely adorable. :) You guys HAVE been busy!
