You will know you are lost in Nerdville without hope of rescue at the point you stumble across this pep talk for the morse code exam:
"By the time examination day rolls around, you should have already prepared yourself. This means getting your schedule, supplies and mental attitude ready. Plan your schedule so you'll get to the examination site with plenty of time to spare. There's no harm in being early. In fact, you might have time to discuss hamming with another applicant, which is a great way to calm pretest nerves. Try not to discuss the material on the examination, as this may make you even more nervous. By this time, it's too late to study anyway!" (ARRL General Class License Manual, 5th ed. 2004, p.18)
