Houston trip (sort of) and "Photo Shoot" at the park

Kate was sleepy here but instead of fussing she cuddled with Grandpa for awhile. See how she's got her arms wrapped around his hand? So sweet.

Christine and Scott were puzzle maniacs on this trip. Here is one of many that they completed.

A funny face at the park back in Salt Lake. When we got there we noticed that there was great lighting so we ended up doing a mini photo shoot.

Kate played with the badminton birdies the whole time.

Here is Kate with her new Bulgarian friend, Nikolai. He is a month younger but Kate has the confidence and the looks to go for a younger man. She was kind enough to let Nikki play with one of the birdies but she apparently disapproves of him eating it:
He tried to hold her hand but Kate felt that things were moving a little too fast.

The significant thing about this picture is that Kate was asleep when we took it. Who sleeps like this? You can see that she somehow managed to untie the crib bumper pad so that it was within easy reach.
Thanks for a really fun trip, you guys! Sorry we didn't take more pictures while we were in Houston but we had a blast.
